“Massive Rockslide Blocks County Road in Alver, Norway”

– It looks like a rather severe landslide, with massive boulders. Here, large machines are needed to clear, explains traffic operator Eirik Elnes The Bergen newspaper.

There are cars on both sides of the slide, but the Swedish Road Administration has not received any reports of injuries to people or vehicles.

– We are very happy that it seems to have gone well, says Elnes.

Clean-up crews are on their way to the crash site, but the clean-up may take time.

– This could be a long-term closure, says Elnes.
