A massive pile-up on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway resulted in four individuals being injured. The accident began when a truck, whose brakes had failed, collided with a vehicle on the expressway. The truck went on to collide with approximately 12 other vehicles, causing around seven to eight cars to crash into one another. The cause of the accident is still being investigated. Videos from the scene show the extent of the damage to the mangled and wrecked vehicles on the road, with the injured individuals being attended to by paramedics. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, and none of the injured individuals sustained any serious injuries. This incident comes on the heels of a similar accident earlier this month that claimed the lives of four people on the same expressway.
