NEW YORK — At least three people were injured Wednesday morning in a massive multi-vehicle crash on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, causing delays for drivers during rush hour.
The highway lines were closed and the authorities recommended avoiding the area in Brooklyn, along Tillary Street. The authorities pointed out to our sister chain NBC 4 that the accident caused the trailer of a truck, which was carrying scrap metal, to overturn.
The injured were evaluated by paramedics at the scene and then transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The case remains under investigation.
