Massive Fire in West Jakarta’s Keagungan Village – 23 Fire Units and 110 Personnel Deployed

The fire occurred on Jalan Keagungan, RW 07, Keagungan Village, Taman Sari District, West Jakarta. Fire happened in people’s homes.

This information was conveyed by the fire brigade via the official Instagram, humasjakfire, the fire is said to have occurred on Tuesday (2/1/2024). Firefighters fire began extinguishing the fire at 19.30 WIB.

“There was a fire that hit a house on Jalan Keagungan, RW 07, Kel. Keagungan, Kec. Taman Sari, West Jakarta (the point of contact for Pasar Gang Kancil). #PemadamJakarta started operating at 19.30 WIB with current efforts to localize the spread of the fire,” wrote humasjakfire.

At 20.50 WIB, officers are said to have started the cooling process. A total of 23 fire units and 110 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire.

“At 20.50 WIB the cooling process was declared with efforts to break down the burning material so as not to leave fire and smoke,” he wrote.

“The current deployment is reported to be 23 units (18 units in West Jakarta, 2 units in Central Jakarta, 2 units in North Jakarta, and 1 unit in the Gulkarmat Service) and 110 personnel,” he continued.
