The Hérault firefighters intervened in the town of Montpellier, at 36 impasse de la blanquette, for a fire in a home, Friday March 8, 2024, in the middle of the afternoon.

It was a completely burning squat of around 60m² on the ground floor. The whole house burned down and was completely destroyed.

It took two water hoses to put out the flames and protect a nearby gas tank.

Fortunately, the site was empty at the time of the fire.

Firefighters are still on site to secure the scene. We have no details on the origin and causes of the disaster.
