The guests appear to have evacuated desperately. As of 11:30 p.m. that day, 42 people were taken to the hospital after complaining of symptoms such as smoke inhalation or back or ankle pain. All are in non-life-threatening condition. The warning order was also downgraded to response level 1.
Fire authorities believe that the fire that started on the ceiling of the Piloti Structure parking lot has spread to the outside of the building and is investigating the exact cause of the fire and property damage.
