It’s no secret that the undersigned has really got the feel for Massive Entertainment since they gave us The Division and The Division 2, so I’m also looking forward to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and very much to Star Wars Outlaws from the same group. You would think that the studio that was founded in Sweden had more than enough to think about with the two, but in the usual style, Ubisoft is not on the lazy side.
In a press release, Ubisoft confirms that Massive has started the development of The Division 3. It is clear that the project is in a very early phase, because the French publisher reveals at the same time that Julian Gerighty, who was creative director of The Division 2 and in these days fine-tuning Star Wars Outlaws for launch next year, has become The Division series’ executive producer and thus responsible for all of Ubisoft’s The Division products from now on. This also means that it is he who will now build up the group that will create the third numbered game in the series.
