In Dijon (Côte-d’Or), the Burgundy-Morocco association is holding a collection point this Monday, September 11 in the Grésilles district. The donations will then be sent to Marrakech, two days after the violent earthquake which caused the death of more than 2,000 people in Morocco.

It comes from Dole, Besançon, Chalon, Mâcon, Beaune, Nuits-Saint-Georges… from the whole region!“

Medical equipment, particularly medications, is also welcome. As a reminder, the current count shows nearly 2,500 people having lost their lives due to the earthquake, and as many injured. “They are still equipped on site. Morocco remains a developed country“, underlines Sari Hassan, doctor from Dijon. “But in situations like this, they can’t handle everything at once. There is always a need for help.“
