In his speech after the election, Sannino reiterated Filca Campania’s strong commitment to the issues of safety, legality, sustainability, training, bilateralism, quality of work and urban regeneration. «We are a young category and strongly rooted in the territory – underlined Sannino after his election – always attentive to the needs and requirements of workers and their families. We are ready to further intensify our commitment to guarantee quality work on construction sites, safety and dignity of workers, regularity and legality of the sector», concluded the new general secretary of Filca della Campania.
Filca Cisl Campania looks to the future with the new secretary Massimo Sannino, the workers’ union in the construction sector determined to continue to guarantee well-being and safety. The election of the new secretary who will have the task of guiding the regional Filca towards a new relaunch of union activities took place inside the Congress Center of the Hotel Ramada in Naples. Sannino effectively takes up the baton of the regent Ottavio De Luca, who preceded the moment of the vote by illustrating the objectives achieved in recent years and the new and historical issues that the militants and leaders will have to be able to face.
The growth of the union in recent years has been structural, capable of exploding in provinces such as Avellino e Beneventoand managing to become the first reference force in the Neapolitan territory. The recipe for success, which however also strengthens the responsibility pact with the workers, is made up of the desire on the part of the Filca militants to be able to recognize the problems with an objective eye, far from political thoughts and based only on the need to defend a category increasingly strategic for the country of Italy.
«There are many responsibilities, but Filca Campania has proven over the years to be a fundamental interlocutor in the world of construction, we are alongside the workers for their well-being and for their health and safety» were the first declarations of the new Filca Cisl Campania secretary Massimo Sannino, who makes his ambition to continue trying to make a difference shine through in his words «Today we are writing a new page, a trained and visionary leadership group which today gathers its new regional secretary but which comes from many years of militancy. Filca has its origins and will maintain it in the name of the workers».
For Sannino, the success achieved in recent years has a very specific recipe, based on seriousness and commitment in the field «The family is expanding because the workers see us at Filca as a valid interlocutor to support them. The construction world needs the support of the union and we will always be at the side of every actor, so that there are fair salaries and construction sites that move forward with less and less useless bureaucracy”. Finally, the new regional number one reiterates the difference between CISL and the rest of the intermediate bodies «The CISL is a trade union, we don’t engage in politics, we don’t use words to attract populism, we are for real problems and their resolution, alongside workers and why not, also businesses».
