Roman Holiday Takes Dark Turn for Actor Massimo Lopez
Actor Massimo Lopez experienced a frightening moment on Friday night in Rome’s Flaminio district. While crossing the street, Lopez was struck by a passing motor scooter. The driver fled the scene without offering assistance.
Taking to Instagram on December 2nd to update his worried fans, Lopez shared a video recounting the incident.
"I make this video to thank you all, everyone who wrote, called and sent me messages of solidarity to find out about my health conditions after the accident that happened on Friday," he said. "I was hit by a scooter, I had a small break in my nose and hand, but it was a luxury, it could have been much worse," he added.
Despite the jarring ordeal, Lopez remains in good spirits. “It went well, the license plate number was taken and the report was made," he assured his followers. "I have to stay like this with my hand covered but it’s ok. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
The video showed Lopez sporting a swollen face, a testament to the force of the impact.
His experience highlights the dangers faced by pedestrians in busy urban environments, casting a shadow on the Italian capital’s vibrant atmosphere.
