Reported detikJatim, Head of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk’s Rungkut Factory, Endri Suprianto, said that his party appreciates and respects every employee who conveys aspirations to the company. According to him, this is important so that the company can survive in the midst of a situation that continues to change and is challenging and relevant in the future.

“The company is continuously transforming its end-to-end our business operations. The transformation that has been carried out has gone through various careful and strategic considerations and has been carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia. The various adjustments that have been implemented have passed objective and thorough considerations,” said Endri in his official statement, Wednesday (30/3/2022).

Endri explained that his party is trying to evaluate various other alternatives before deciding on adjustments that have an impact on aspects of human resources (HR). According to him, no matter how difficult the challenges and business conditions are, the impact in terms of human resources is always a last resort for the company.

“In addition to severance packages that exceed the standard of obligations stipulated by law, we are also committed to providing various other supports, including incentives, training, and a series of benefit packages,” he said.

He claimed that this would support the readiness of affected employees to remain productive after completing the company’s service period.

Endri emphasized that this was not done spontaneously, but through a series of open communications such as bipartite meetings and townhall employee.
