” They need it. They are extremely tense, you can feel it in their breathing, in their body ”. Installed in the Champs-Géraux, the masseuse Camille Le Maléfan feels particularly useful with the carers of the covid service of the René-Pléven hospital center, this Thursday in December.
In the company of another well-being massage practitioner from around Dinan, the young woman provided 20-minute massages to all caregivers who wanted them, all day. About 25 members of the covid service took advantage of it, almost all of them.
Every two months ?
A first in Dinan, after a conclusive test in Saint-Malo, where caregivers had been very demanding. It is the national hospital mutual insurance company (MNH), a long-standing player in the sector, which proposed the operation to the management of the hospital, which shows the desire to improve “quality of life at work”.
“The executives are playing the game by giving their teams the opportunity to come here for 20 minutes. We will try to amplify the system in 2021. This is part of our prevention missions in the context of occupational health. We want to come back to Dinan every two months, changing service each time, ”considers Bruno Planque, mutual advisor on the GHT Rance-Emeraude.
It is not this nursing assistant coming out of the expert hands of Camille Le Maléfan who will refuse. “It feels good, it relaxes, even if afterwards, the day is not over, you have to start again. We are keen to see it more regularly! », She smiles, before setting off again on the covid front.
