Incident mass stabbing happened in Seongnam, just south of the capital South Korea (South Korea), Seoul on Thursday (3/8).
Reported by the news agency Reuters, Thursday (3/8/2023), according to a report by the South Korean news agency, Yonhap citing the police, at least 13 people were injured in the stabbing incident near Seoul.
It is not clear how serious the injuries of the victims were. Yonhap reported that one person had been arrested at the scene. There is no further information regarding the perpetrator or motive for the stabbing.
This latest incident occurred near Seohyun station, an area about 20 km from Seoul with many commuters, a large department store, and hundreds of stores.
The stabbing incident comes just days after a rare stabbing attack in Seoul, in which one person was killed and three others injured.
