Now the Bishop of Lugano, Don Valerio Lazzeri, has lost his temper. A priest who worked in a parish in southern Ticino was relieved of his office with immediate effect. The priest was drunk on Saturday night not far from the border in Italy and was driving the parish’s official car. Apparently, his driving style was so dangerous that another driver called the Italian police.
