Mass Effect Legendary Edition sales exceeded expectations. EA plans to develop the franchise

We can not count on a quick premiere of Mass Effect 4, but Electronic Arts will certainly not give up the cosmic IP. The publisher has confirmed the great news about Mass Effect Legendary Edition – players are very eager to return to the three iconic adventures of Commander Shepard.

Last year, BioWare published the first material from the new installment of the Mass Effect series, which raised expectations for the latest production from the Canadian studio, but the debut is the tune of the future. The developers are also developing Dragon Age 4 – The RPG will only hit the market in a few years.

During the meeting with investors, Andrew Wilson, head of Electronic Arts, confirmed, however, promising information for fans of the Mass Effect universe – Mass Effect Legendary Edition sales significantly exceeded EA’s expectations:

“The premiere of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, a remaster of the first three games in the Mass Effect franchise, rekindled the passion of fans around the world, driving sales well above our expectations.”

Such satisfactory results met with the declaration of “Elektronik” who announced that they still intend to invest in this franchise. However, it is worth recalling that at the time of the November presentation, BioWare was at an early stage of work, so a lot of time is still needed to see the final version of Mass Effect 4.

“We’re in an early stage of the project and can’t say more yet, but we can’t wait to share our vision of where to go next.”

We can suspect that the new Dragon Age has priority in the release, but only 2-3 years after the indicated premiere we will play the next installment of Mass Effect.
