Several people were injured in fights between two families in the Blumenthal district of Bremen on Friday. First, according to police, five men from two families fought in the street Lüssumer Heide. A 45-year-old was hit by a car and broke his arm. The police took the vehicle driver into custody.
In the afternoon, two larger groups from both families met again. Immediately there was another fight. Nine people were slightly injured. Overall, both families were there with more than 50 people. The police were very busy to secure the district.
