The entertainment program «Maskorama» has been a resounding success for NRK the last two years. Norwegians seem to love to guess which celebrities are hiding behind the costumes made by the famous designer Kjell Nordström, which has resulted in record high ratings and wild media interest.
The verdict: Decline from last year
In last year’s final confirmed host Silje Nordnes (37) from the stage that NRK wanted to make a third round of costume entertainment and guessing games. Although the secrecy is naturally large in the “Maskorama” universe, NRK can finally reveal more details about the upcoming season.
NRK’s press officer Tonje Bergmo can, among other things, confirm that Silje Nordnes will embark on another season as “Maskorama” presenter this autumn.

The detective panel consisting of Marion Ravn (38), Nicolay Ramm (33) and Jan Thomas (55) will also be seen next season. But the production has a surprise lurking, Bergmo reveals to Dagbladet.
– It is the same wonderful and dedicated detective panel as in the two previous seasons, and I can also reveal that this will be a little twist. I can say no more, because in “Maskorama” we hold on to the secrets.

This year, too, it is Swedish-Norwegian designer Kjell Nordström (58)formerly known as Baron von Bulldog, who is behind the celebrities’ impressive masks and costumes.

– It is Kjell Nordström who makes the fantastic costumes also in this season of “Maskorama”, and this year he will probably try to surpass himself, says Tonje Bergmo, who can also tell that the premiere date for season three has not yet been nailed down.
In an interview with Dagbladet Magasinet in November 2021, the designer said that he had learned a lot from being costume designer for NRK’s new entertainment success.
– That I, after almost thirty years as a designer, have now somehow become “Maskorama-Kjell” is strange – and “great fun”, Nordström said at the time.
