Maskorama, Celebrities | Alexandra Joner as Huldra in “Maskorama”:-He was a nightmare

NYDALEN/OSLO (Nettavisen): On Saturday night, the stage was set for the semifinals of “Maskorama,” where the four remaining characters Rabagasten, Huldra, the wolf and the zombie battled it out for a spot in the finals.

To decide which three could hold the mask, in addition to performing a song each, they also had to sing a duet with another artist.

After all the celebrities performed their songs, it was finally Huldra who had to say goodbye and leave the stage forever.

It was artist Alexandra Joner (32) who hid behind the mask, which came as no surprise to many.

– A nightmare

Both viewers and several members of the investigative team have guessed that Joner is Huldra, and the artist herself describes it as a nightmare to keep the secret under wraps.

– It was a nightmare because my friends wouldn’t leave me alone and I said “it’s not me, you can stop bothering me,” says Joner.

Eventually, Joner found himself having to stop answering the phone when his friends called.

“So now I’m friendless,” Joner says with a laugh.

Furthermore, the 32-year-old claims that only her boyfriend Runar Vatne (48) and manager David Eriksen (55) knew about the attendance.

To keep the secret under wraps, the artist came up with a variety of excuses.

See how she managed to keep it under wraps here:

Sing duet

In tonight’s broadcast, each participant, as mentioned, had to perform a duet with an artist chosen by himself.

Among other things, Joner performed the song “Shout out to My Ex” by Little Mix together with the artist Nicoline Berg Kaasin (33).

– I must admit that I had a suspicion that it was her, but it was fun to be welcomed into reality, says Berg Kaasin.

The two artists, however, rehearsed the song together once before the live broadcast, where there were strict rules here too.

– We met for the first time yesterday at stage rehearsal, and then he saw me with a mask on so he had no idea who I had dueted with. It was also an experience, says Joner and adds:

– We weren’t allowed to talk together, so it was kind of a “thumbs up” communication.

New revelations

This week Nettavisen’s “studioRAMA” had a visit from former “Maskorama” finalist Herman Dahl (20), who was able to reveal a special detail.

The YouTuber himself was in the show’s first season and tells Nettavisen that it wasn’t him who was inside the Viking in the intro video.

– I don’t know if I promised to answer, but I’m not wearing the costume in the introductory video, reveals Dahl.

However, he points out that this was the first season and that a lot could have happened since then. The 20-year-old was also at school as the introductory video was being recorded.

Joner was also able to reveal to Nettavisen after Saturday’s broadcast that she’s not in costume in the introductory videos.

– No, it’s someone else running in the forest, it’s not me, he reveals.
