Deputy Secretary General of Congregation Management at the Presidency, Engineer Osama bin Mansour Al-Hujaili, emphasized that since the beginning of the pandemic the Presidency has been working to implement a number of precautionary measures and measures for the safety of visitors to the Grand Mosque. One of them is physical distancing posters distributed throughout the Grand Mosque.
Initially the stickers were applied to maintain a distance of two meters. Then in the middle of the third stage, it was reduced to one and a half meters.

Al-Hujaili said that the stickers made a great contribution to the grouping operations and the management of the congregation inside the Grand Mosque, through corridors, worship paths and other things arranged to maintain safety for those who go to the Holy Land.
As is known, Saudi Arabia has lifted the restrictions that have been implemented so far in an effort to prevent COVID-19. One of them allows residents to move outdoors without wearing masks or maintaining social distancing.
Reported by saudigazette, the rules come into effect today. This rule applies to residents who have completed the COVID-19 vaccination.
Restrictions on the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque were also removed. The two mosques can now be at full or maximum capacity, for residents who have been vaccinated.
Wedding halls, restaurants and transport facilities will also be allowed to operate at full capacity for people who are fully vaccinated without physical distancing.
The decision to relax social distancing requirements and full capacity will also apply at commercial outlets, but people will still need to wear masks indoors.
This is one of the decisions approved by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and announced by the Ministry of Interior on Friday as part of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions imposed nearly 19 months ago following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, the Saudi Press Agency reported. .
