Maserati wins the fight against Covid: “A descent into hell”

He fought against Covid for a month, but eventually defeated it. Nicola Maserati, historic bookseller of Castel San Giovanni and provincial president of Confesercenti, can now breathe a sigh of relief and try to put behind what he himself defines “a descent into hell”. To help him there are also colleagues and friends who on his return to work made him find a wonderful surprise: a painting with a historical photo of Corso Matteotti, where his bookshop is located, and a bottle of wine with imprinted on the label a welcome back greeting and the signatures of fellow traders. During those hellish days, eight of which with helmets, Maserati never lost hope: “I was just thinking about getting out. I never thought for a minute that I wouldn’t go out. Now there are many things to do here in the bookshop, and in Confesercenti. The priority is that the entire trade sector gets out of this tunnel we entered a year ago ”.
