Maserati unveils its new V8-based Trofeo range!

As expected Maserati today unveiled its new Trofeo range for the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte ! It is not a question here of discussing consumption, CO2 emissions or French penalties (no!) But of latin sports cars with carbon in cutlery and biturbo V8 in flat resistance!

The real novelty is the arrival of the V8 engine in the Maserati Ghibli. Long awaited, this Maserati Ghibli Trofeo finally completes the range. Maybe a little late but at least it comes to position itself at the other extreme of the Maserati Ghibli Hybrid.

The biturbo V8 engine is well known since it comes from Ferrari like for years. On this subject, this range of Maserati Trofeo with Ferrari V8 engine is probably the last… since it will pass exclusively to the V6 engine Maserati Nettuno a few years from now.

On board, latin and sporty atmosphere, carbon here and there, always the small Maserati clock in the center and above all, the new Maserati infotainment system with its 10 ″ touch screen.

On the outside, this Trofeo range offers many sporting elements with carbon front and rear spoilers and in order to show passers-by that you have big ones under the hood, a few red elements here and there. Another important point, the new rear lights which must recall the beautiful 3200 GT (or the Fiat Tipo according to Frédéric; p).

As for the prices, we don’t know them yet, but a Maserati Levante Trofeo MY19 starts at € 158,000 including tax in France, excluding registration card and ecological penalty. The new Maserati Trofeo MY20 range should revolve around this price. See a little more with the technological novelties (it is necessary to cushion the development of the touch screen).
