“Masdar’s Sustainability Report 2022: Clean Energy Production Increases by 33% and Ambitions to Lead in Green Hydrogen”

The production capacity of the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company “Masdar” in the field of clean energy increased during the past year by about 33% to 20 gigawatts, and it generated 18,000 gigawatt-hours, in addition to avoiding the emission of 10 million tons of carbon dioxide, according to its annual sustainability report.
The report dealt with Masdar’s launch of the Green Finance Framework, its firm commitment to ensuring the health and safety of workers in line with local and international standards, as well as the achievements of projects and programs for empowering women and youth.
Masdar’s report confirmed its commitment to becoming a leading global company in the field of green hydrogen, with plans to produce up to one million tons of green hydrogen per year by 2030.
