The Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, Masdar, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sitaglobal Berhad to cooperate in developing renewable energy projects that include solar and wind energy and energy storage battery systems.
Under the MoU, Masdar and Sitaglobal will develop projects in the field of renewable energy in the Malaysian state of Pahang, including exploring opportunities to develop solar energy projects, wind energy and other renewable energy technologies.
Masdar CEO, Mohammed Jamil Al-Ramahi, said: “We are pleased to partner with (Sitaglobal Berhad), which allows us to expand our activities in this major market within the Southeast Asian region. We look forward to providing pioneering energy solutions that contribute to reducing emissions in Malaysia and the region.”
