Masahiro Sakurai, creator of Super Smash Bros., says goodbye to YouTube announcing that he is directing a new game

One of the most prominent figures in the video game industry is Masahiro Sakuraidirector and creator of the saga Super Smash Bros. which is also recognized for having created Kirby among other titles. “Up until that point, I had always gone straight from one job to another. Directors tend to stay on projects longer than anyone else. My next job was decided and I had already finished preparing for it, but the team had not yet met, which caused this longer-than-usual gap.”
