Love-out with Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy: The former actress wants a divorce from the French investment banker after five years of marriage. The designer is even said to have submitted an emergency application for the quickest possible line.
Been there for almost eight years Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy a couple, in 2015 the wedding bells rang. Now the big love of the “Full House” star is history. As the US portal “TMZ” reports, the 33-year-old already on April 17 divorce submitted by her 50 year old husband.
However, the former child star encountered a problem: Due to the corona pandemic, divorce applications are currently only being processed in New York in absolute emergencies. But Mary-Kate Olsen has no time to waste.
Her ex throws her out
Through her lawyers, Olivier Sarkozy is said to have informed Olsen that he had terminated the lease on their shared New York luxury apartment without their consent.
She had to get her things out of the apartment by May 18. Since she could not meet the deadline, Mary-Kate Olsen said she requested a stay until May 30 – a request to which Olivier did not respond.
To protect her property, Mary-Kate Olsen now filed an emergency divorce petition for her pre-wedding marriage contract to take effect. It is not yet known exactly what caused the couple’s marriage to fail.
Meanwhile, Mary-Kate’s twin sister Ashley Olsen could soon ring the wedding bells. She is said to be with the artist Louis Eisner. Allegedly, the couple has already secretly engaged.
