Last week, developers from Insomniac Games released a new story trailer for the anticipated PlayStation exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The preview she focused on the presentation of various characters led by Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Venom or Mary Jane. It was Mary Jane Watson and her appearance that became the target of quite numerous discussions among players.
Fans have pointed out a noticeable change between Mary Jane’s appearance in the original 2018 game and the upcoming sequel. Part of the players criticized the new form of Mary Jane and believed that the authors chose a different actress for the second part. Only Insomniac’s creative director James Stevenson had to calm passions, who he revealedthat Mary Jane is played by the same actress in both plays (Laura Bailey) and there has been no change in this direction.
Stevenson further revealed in an ongoing discussion with fans on Twitter that all the faces were re-recorded from scratch for the second volume. For this reason, according to him, certain natural changes can be seen. The result should be more detailed faces and models that should more closely match the appearance of the real actors.
