Mary J Blige: Children? “I don’t want to go through this”

Baby news is without a doubt some of the most beautiful news there is – that applies to stars as much as it does to us. But there was never such charming news from singer Mary J. Blige (51). She revealed why in an interview.

Mary J. Blige: “I like my freedom”

“I have nieces and nephews and I always see people scrambling for babysitters,” she told E!’s Daily Pop. Her insight: “I don’t want to go through that. I like my freedom to walk and move and do what I want to do. I don’t want to have to take care of someone all the time.”

In view of her now 51 years, pregnancy would be a risky undertaking anyway. Looking back, Mary J. Blige says, “I just never got to that point and I’m fine with it.”
