Spider-Man 2 will soon hit another platform. PS5 exclusivity is ending. Sony presented a new trailer and release date for PC.

The game from Insomniac is one of the biggest PS5 hits of 2023. The latest result is more than 11 million copies sold, and this number should increase significantly in the near future. All thanks to the aforementioned PC version.

Bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to a new audience on PC with Insomniac and Marvel Games has been a great experience for us at Nixxes. We are excited to continue this partnership and bring Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC with a series of enhanced features, including better ray tracing options. This allows you to take full advantage of the different settings and configurations. This is very unexpected news, but as you can see, Sony decided it was time to offer the second part of Spider-Man to PC users. Insomniac Games published an entry from which we learn about two editions of the game – Standard and Deluxe.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – Standard Edition is the complete game + the latest updates since launch on PS5, including:

• 14 new suits
• New Game+
• Final grades
• New symbiote clothing styles
• Time of day options
• Performances after the game
• Photo mode + action figure
• Additional access options

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – Digital Deluxe Edition:

• Everything listed above
• 5 unique outfits for Peter Parker
• 5 unique outfits for Miles Morales
• Early access to Patrick’s Arachknight Costume (in three color variants)
• Early access to the Spider Shadow for Miles costume (in three color variants)
• Early access to the web capture tool
• 5 skill points
• Additional elements in photo mode

The authors also confirmed that they have no plans to create new story content for Spider-Man 2.

While we have no plans for additional story content for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we are excited to bring all previously released content to the PC version.

The release date is set for January 30, 2025! The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. A PlayStation Network account is required
