Previously, the hacker group was reported to have leaked a number of internal data from Insomniac Games, including material from their unreleased games such as Wolverine.
According to reports Cyber Daily, A total of 1.67TB of data consisting of more than 1.3 million files was released by the Ryhsida ransomware.
On December 12, Ryhsida claimed to have stolen data from Insomniac Games, and announced the data auction price starting at 50 bitcoins, with a payment deadline of seven days.
Quoting The VergeWednesday (20/12/2023), hackers leaked level designs and character material from Wolverine, which apparently includes several internal company presentations about the game.
Hackers also released screenshots of the company’s internal spreadsheets, as well as details of development and marketing budgets.
In the leak, it was also revealed that Wolverine will be the first title in a planned trilogy of X-Men games, with the two sequels targeted for release in late 2029 and 2033 respectively.
Apart from that, there are also notes about the Spider-Man three games, Venom, and the newest game in the Ratchet and Clank franchise.
Quoted from Polygon, in internal data, Venom is targeted for release in 2025, then Wolverine in 2026, Spider-Man 3 in 2028, and X-Men in 2030. However, there could be changes to the dates of this target.
It is also possible that this series of games, especially Marvel’s X-Men, will be launched on the next PlayStation console, aka PlayStation 6.
