It was in the air for a long time and now it’s official: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is in the works and was presented during PlayStation Showcase with a completely new trailer that shows up close the next effort by Insomniac Games, called to take up the baton of the original game and the spin-off Miles Morales. The game will come in 2023.
You can see it in action directly below.
The details come from PlayStation Blog directly from Ryan Schneider, head of the franchise for Insomniac, who explains:
We are really excited to be able to continue the journey of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, taking them into theirs most epic single-player adventure ever, which will come exclusively on PlayStation 5 in 2023.
No cross-gen, at that point, while the game wants to tell not only an important story involving superheroes, but also involving the human beings behind the mask.
In the post we also learn that pretty much the same team from previous games will also be working on Spider-Man 2: let’s talk about Bryan Intihar come creative director e Ryan Smith as a game director, to begin with. We also read that Tony Todd will officially be the voice of Venom, which you have already seen promising trouble in this first video.
Obviously, come on SpazioGames we will keep you updated on all the news coming for the future of Spidey.
