In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the next game from Insomniac Games, players will experience an enlarged version of New York in the Marvel Universe. The city will almost double in size, with new locations, updated explorations, and exciting travel options. The expansion will include Queens and Brooklyn, with main missions, side quests and activities to discover.
One of the exciting new features is the ability to instantly switch between the two main characters, Peter Parker and Miles Morales, in the open world. This will be made possible thanks to the power of PlayStation 5. Each character will have their own parallel stories to discover across the city. Players will be able to help Brooklyn Visions students as Miles Morales, or respond to requests for help as Peter Parker, using the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app. Some activities can even be carried out as Spider-Man, regardless of the character selected.
The game will introduce new enemies, including Kraven the Hunter and Venom, who will test the heroes and their mutual relationships with the city. Other villains will also cause trouble, making it essential for the heroes to work together to stop them. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will include new abilities and skills for the heroes, such as Pete’s new symbiote powers and Spider-Arms, as well as Miles’ bioelectric power and evolved abilities.
The game will feature a wide selection of costumes for players to choose from, with a total of 65 costumes available. These costumes will include new, original designs and fan favorites from the films and comics. Additionally, there will be Costume Styles, which will unlock different alternate colors for certain costumes, providing over 200 ways to customize your Spider-Hero.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will include 10 exclusive costumes for Spidey, additional Photo Mode items, as well as 2 Skill Points. These costumes were designed by various artists from the comics, games and films. Each of these costumes has a unique and creative design, showcasing the talent and imagination of the artists involved.
To add to the excitement, a collaboration with EARTHGANG (feat. Benji) has resulted in a new music track titled “Swing,” which will feature in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The full soundtrack, composed by the illustrious composer John, will also be available for fans.
