Little by little, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is relaunching its communication, he who hadn’t been talked about for a few months! Until its release next October, the key word is the characters. In turn, the roster of superheroes is revealed and each of them highlights their gameplay through short videos. After Captain America recently, it’s genius Tony Stark’s turn in an Iron Man suit to show us the extent of his strike force.

Avengers, assemble!
Less than a week ago, it was the turn of the first member of the Avengers who opened the ball for this brand new communication around Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Armed with his shield, he didn’t hesitate for a second to make his fists speak on the battlefield: less than a minute to appreciate this, it’s short but the developers had the parade for those who impatiently waiting for this title in the vein of the license XCOM. For this, Firaxis has therefore released a more substantial video, called “Gameplay Showcase”, which complements our hunger for superheroes and our thirst for gameplay.

We discovered there the abilities of this dear Captain America — who sports, for the occasion, a different look from the one we know from the productions of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) — and how interactions with other superheroes (thanks to a “friendship” system) can be beneficial for the progress of the scenario. Finally, through various environments, fights were illustrated through abilities — which, we recall, are triggered by the use of cards — from the first Avengers.
Tony Stark puts on the Iron Man suit to destroy everything
Don’t worry, it’s not just for Steve Rogers since the famous Tony Stark, also present in the casting, also had the right to a short video presentation (available at the top of the article). We do not yet know the entire cast of this XCOM with Marvel sauce, but we can now be sure: Iron Man will indeed be there and we discover today both his strength on the battlefield and his talent for well-felt sentences to ridicule the enemies who come to him.

We therefore observe that Iron Man is able to employ techniques which, for example, are able to reach several enemies at the same time, which can be practical when cleaning up among the villains who are still holding the shot. But beyond small multiple damage, Iron Man represents an immense strike force able to sweep enemies with the laser beams that are able to send his gadgets. Who should we expect for the next reveal: another Avengers member or a surprise guest? The bets are open.
