Update 05/11/23:
A few days after the first demonstrations on the filming locations of Daredevil : Born Againthe informant Deadline reports from its sources on site that production has now been halted for the rest of the week, at the time of publication of this article. Filming will therefore not be able to resume in the coming days, and Deadline points out that at present, uncertainty reigns as to this potential recovery.
If the initial break in production seemed at the beginning of the week still innocuous, with a resumption expected on Tuesday May 9, the scriptwriters returned to plant their pickets, thus effectively blocking access to the sets – and above all, the people on the spot showing their solidarity with the movement by refusing to “cross the picket”. For Marvel Studiosthe situation in the offices must slowly begin to tense up and it seems more certain that delays in the release of the series on Disney+ will be one of the consequences of the strike, for a studio that has been hit in multiple places – on the set of Wonder Man or for the pre-production of Blade. Kevin Feige and his cronies be able to make theAMPTP and allow screenwriters to access their legitimate requests?

Original article – 08/05/23
Started a week ago now, the strike of the Writers Guild of America continues to have direct day-to-day consequences on the many production projects carried out by the major American studios. Marvel Studios seems to be, as we had envisaged, one of the studios most likely to see its plans upset in view of its number of films and series generally in production and pre-production at the same given moment. While a demonstration had disrupted the filming of Wonder Man last week, and that the film Blade, The Vampire Slayer was paused again afterwards, it’s the turn of Daredevil to pay the consequences of the industry’s bad practices towards its screenwriters.
A delay to be expected for Daredevil?
The Writers Guild of America has indeed indicated that a new demonstration of screenwriters and syndicates was held on this day at the filming locations of the series Daredevil : Born Again planned by Marvel Studios pour Disney+. A blocking technique that has been proven since the industry professionals present on the spot have chosen (by support or by obligation?) not to cross the line of the demonstrators in order to join the sets. As a result, filming for the series was put on hiatus for the day.
It is already indicated that the filming of Daredevil : Born Again may resume tomorrow, May 9 at the time of publication of this article. The action is therefore punctual, but as the duration of the strike of the Writers Guild of America has not been determined, and that other actions are most certainly to be expected, it is not said that Marvel Studios don’t end up falling behind, whether on Daredevil or other productions. There is only one thing left to do: comply with the requests of authors and authors, for example.
