GwiGwi.com – Bandai Namco has released a new story trailer for The Idolmaster: Starlit Season, featuring 961 Production idols Aya (voiced by Rina Hidaka). A new music video for the song “Overmaster” was also released.

Game explanation from Steam:

What is The Idolmaster?

In The Idolmaster, you take on the role of an idol producer, train idols, and share difficulties with unique idols to achieve the common goal of becoming a top idol. This is an idol production game The Idolmaster.

In this title, idols who have gathered to enliven the idol world form a joint unit that transcends the confines of the office they are in. A whole new story will unfold with new idols participating in the new mega event, “Starlit Season.”

Now, the girls are embarking on a brand new The Idolmaster: Starlit Season for The Idolmaster’s 15th anniversary. Generate “Project Luminous”, a combined unit of four brands from The Idolmaster series!

The visual presentation of the previous The Idolmaster series has been completely redesigned to give players a thrilling sense of presence and realistic representation of the idols!

Overcome the trials and challenges of the final stage of “Starry Season!”

The goal is to create idol units with unique personalities and organize their schedules to achieve their goals.

The first is the lesson. Play three mini-games to “grow” your idol’s abilities: “Vocal Lesson,” “Dance Lesson”, and “Visual Lesson”, where you press buttons at just the right time!

On stage, coordinate the participating members, live costumes, and music, and pull the crowd in time to the beat of the song! The goal is to win in “Live”, “Audition” and “Festival” and increase your “Fan”!

Gather fans as you complete lessons and stages, and aim to participate and succeed in mega live concerts!

The Idolmaster: Starlit Season will release for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam on October 14 in Japan. The “Training Session” demo is now available for PlayStation 4.
