A while ago we already saw the teaser trailer for Eternals, the third of four Marvel Cinematic Universe films in 2021. In that film we only get to see new Marvel heroes and one of them is Ikaris from Richard Madden.
The British actor also plays one of the most important and strongest Eternals. In conversation with GQ, Madden, known from Rocketman on Bastille Day, that the Marvel movie is a “love story through the ages” show between Sersi of actress Gemma Chan and his Ikaris.
This does not alter the fact that there will be a lot of superpowers on display and we saw these briefly in the recent teaser trailer. Madden indicated that we also get to see the necessary laser eyes.
Laserogen in Eternals
“There are a lot of laser eyes to see, and things like that,” said the actor to GQ, “I too have laser eyes”. While we’ve seen a lot of light-up eyes in the franchise, we haven’t seen laser eyes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date.
Eternals from Oscar winner Chloe Zhao is scheduled for early November this year. First we get Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in september.
