In August 2021, we officially learned that Anthony Mackie was going to be the new face of Captain America in the MCU.

In all likelihood, the comedian will never put on the Captain America costume again. However, questioned by Comicbook.comthe latter does not quite close the door to a possible return to Steve Rogers.
“Looks like the public would like to see me again as Captain America”he confided. “I don’t want to disappoint anyone but it will be complicated. It was great to have played him and I’m very happy. This role is very precious to me”the 41-year-old actor continued.
“If it’s done, it would have to be perfect. And I would be very scared at the idea of missing out on a character that is so close to my heart. This role means so much to me that the challenge would be really huge”he concluded, leaving a small door open for a return.
In the meantime, we will find Chris Evans in Buzz Lightyear, in theaters on June 22. He vocally embodies the famous space ranger. The actor will then be showing The Gray Man on Netflix on July 22. This is an action thriller from the Russo Brothers starring Ryan Gosling.
