Phase 6 of the MCU will no longer begin with the Fantastic Four movie. Marvel Studios announce a major change in the release schedule.
With the transfer of an untitled film from Marvel Studios as of September 6, 2024, viewers are now wondering if Fantastic Fourscheduled for November 2024, it will still be the tape that will launch the MCU Phase 6. Kevin Feige announced in this way in the past Comic Con 2022. But this last-minute change seems to transform the schedule. The speculations about this untitled film point directly to Deadpool 3. For this reason, some believe that it will not be possible that this is the tape that will start the sixth phase of the study. Ultimately it is a comedy with an adult rating.
One thing to keep in mind in all of this is that, as initially revealed in the premiere list, Lightning it was slated to be the last film in Marvel Studios’ fifth phase. This would be the first time since then Phase 1 that the studio concludes one of its phases with a group film, in the style of The Avengers (2012). With this team tidbit in mind, it is also possible that this newly transferred untitled project concluded Phase 5 before moving on to Phase 6 of the MCU with Fantastic Four. A film to direct Matt Shakman (Wanda Vision) and of which, to date, we know very little.
Why haven’t they announced the mystery tape yet?
As we’ve noted, many believe this (untitled) Marvel Studios project will be the debut of Ryan Reynolds in the shared universe. Therefore, Deadpool 3 MCU Phase 6 would begin instead Fantastic Four. So why hasn’t the studio already announced it? At the end of the day, he unveiled the entire fifth phase. They own the franchise of the Mercenary with the mouth. Why not call it the mystery film and forget the game of speculation?
