“Maruti Suzuki Fronz: Features, Price, and Design Inspired by Grand Vitara”

The Fronz has a design inspired by Maruti’s mid-size SUV, the Grand Vitara.

EThe latest crossover vehicle from India’s own car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, called Frongs, is a super hit. It is reported that 8784 units of this vehicle, whose price was announced last month, reached the roads in the first month after the sale started. Achieving such a huge sales gain, the Fronz took the 15th position in the list of best selling vehicles in India in the first month itself.

Fronz is a crossover vehicle that replaced the S-Cross that Maruti Suzuki brought to the market. The booking of this vehicle, which was introduced at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo, also started in January itself. With its attractive looks and two powerful engine options, the vehicle was well received even before the price was announced. The price of this vehicle will be released in the month of April.

The manual version of the 1.0-litre turbo model is priced between Rs 9.72 lakh and Rs 11.63 lakh ex-showroom. The manual comes in four variants. Available in three variants, the automatic transmission is priced between Rs 12.05 lakh and Rs 13.13 lakh. The ex-showroom price for the 1.2 liter engine version is Rs 7.46 lakh to Rs 8.72 lakh for the manual model and Rs 8.87 lakh to Rs 9.27 lakh for the automatic version.

The Fronz is a cross-over vehicle with a design inspired by Maruti’s mid-size SUV, the Grand Vitara. The grille, the DRLs attached to the chrome strip on the grille and the bonnet are borrowed from the Grant Vitara. The headlamp cluster with three lights is new to Maruti. The design, including the bumper, is similar to that seen in other Maruti vehicles.

Maruti has tried its best to make the interior feature rich. The floating infotainment system, flat bottom steering wheels and cruise control system are the highlights of the interior. Along with this, it has 360 degree camera and six airbags to ensure safety. It also has spacious seats for five people.

1.2 liter Dual Jet Dual VVT with idle start stop system The petrol engine produces 89.7 PS. Power is 113 Nm. Torque is also provided. The transmission is five-speed manual and five-speed AGS. 1.0 liter turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine with 100 p.s. Power is 147.6 Nm. torque. It has a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle is built on the Hartect platform.
