Former PDIP politician Maruarar Sirait (Ara) said he was just an insignificant little person in candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud Md. TPN assesses that the ‘little person’ narrative expressed by Ara is incorrect.
It is known that Ara revealed this narrative when Ganjar Pranowo said that when one dies, a thousand will grow. Because, Ara, who was previously in the Ganjar-Mahfud camp, now supports candidate pair number 2 Prabowo-Gibran.
“Ah, it’s okay, I’m a small person, it doesn’t mean anything in Mr. Ganjar’s place,” said Ara at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (22/1/2024). Ara said that after attending an event with Prabowo.
However, Ara said that he and Ganjar remained friends and a number of other people. Ara again said that he was a small person who did not have any position in PDIP.
“Oh yes, we will always be friends with Mas Ganjar, with Pak Mahfud, with Mas Utut, always. Until whenever I respect Mbak Mega and the Secretary General, Mas Hasto, it’s okay, I’m a small person, I don’t have any position. ,” he said.
Ara said that he last met Ganjar during a campaign in Cirebon, West Java. Ara expressed the possibility that Prabowo would embrace everything after the presidential election.
“It’s been a long time since we were campaigning in Cirebon, it’s okay, we’re old friends, we respect it. Pak Prabowo said that after this we’ll be together again. Maybe then Pak Jokowi will invite Pak Prabowo to join, OK? Pak Prabowo “The spirit is the same, it will embrace everyone, Pak Prabowo will definitely do that,” he added.
Respons TPN
TPN Ganjar-Mahfud responded to Maruarar Sirait or Ara who said he was just a small person, and insignificant in Ganjar’s place. TPN considers Ara’s statement to be inaccurate.
“That’s not right, in fact there are a lot of small people at our place. We are advocating for small communities, small people, little people, mustadhafin at Mr Ganjar’s place,” said TPN spokesperson Achmad Baidowi or Awiek, to journalists, Tuesday ( 1/23/2024).
According to him, Ara is not a small person. Because, he considers Ara to be a big businessman.
“Yes, it’s the other way around, Ara is not a small person anymore. According to her friends, they say she is already involved in a big business,” he said.
Even so, Awiek still respects Ara’s political choices. However, he emphasized that Ganjar never discriminated against anyone.
“Regarding moving, the choice is everyone’s political right, but we do not differentiate between small people and big people. They are all the same,” he explained.
“If Ara himself defines himself as a small person, the information is that he is already an entrepreneur, how small is he? Entrepreneurs are said to have become consortiums,” added Awiek.
