Following one of the state government’s pledges to protect Chihuahua’s youth, Governor Maru Campos Galván attended the Catholic Youth Congress where she endorsed this administration’s company for girls, boys and teenagers to provide them with dignified space in which they can develop in a healthy environment.
During the congress, the head of the executive recalled the various challenges he faced from childhood and through his posts as a civil servant directing the municipality of Chihuahua as Municipal President and currently as Governor of the State.
The children and young people present had the opportunity to live together with Governor Maru Campos, who informed them of the actions taken by the state government for their protection and healthy development.
The president of the state said that through public policies the current administration strives to provide them with protection and security, as she said that these actions are the meaning of her political career and her meaning in life.
During his speech, Campos Galván assured: “The present I live today as Governor, I define it as the vocation to avoid avoidable pain”, he underlined and commented that one of the axes of attention of the State Government is to be able to offer them development opportunities, such as promoting student scholarships, rehabilitating school spaces, and programs that have a beneficial impact on Chihuahua youth.
Similarly, Maru stressed that the political task is to set the conditions for Chihuahua families to have the options that allow their growth, such as accompanying state producers, such as the Chihuahua agricultural vocation.
The state government has the task of strengthening security in the entity, accompanying the children of Chihuahua with programs such as the restoration of childcare centers to support families and single mothers, the protection of migrant children; “Today the people of Chihuahua called me to say yes to all the challenges we face,” concluded Maru Campos.
