Mārtiņš Kanters with the choir “Anima” and the group “Auļi” wins the final of “Latvian Heart Song”

On June 12, the winner of the song poll “Latvijas Sirdsdziesma” was announced on a live television broadcast. In this honor, 2020/2021. In the season fought 15 songs. Summarizing the results of the LTV1 live viewers’ vote, the winner was Mārtiņš Kanters with the choir “Anima” and the group “Auļi”. In the audience vote, the song “Only the Heart” performed by Aigariņš took the 15th place, the song “The Wedding Ring” by Anna Driba took the 14th place, the composition “Clouds white and roses” by the group “Lauku Muzikanti” took the 13th place, the song by Kaspars Antesa “I miss you”, in 11th place – “Only for you” performed by Sisters Legzdins. Loreta and Lūsis took the 10th place in the final with the song “Time is Happiness”, 9th place – Viktors Tilčiks with the composition “As a Twilight”. In the 8th place, the audience voted the melody “Liedaga promenade” performed by Beata Melder and Silvestra Lorenz, in the 7th place the group “Zeļļi” and Eva Grāvele with the lyrical song “Baltais jasmīns”, in the 6th place – the group “Kantoris 04” with the composition “The Most Beautiful moments ”, 5th place – the song“ Do Not Leave Me in Autumn ”performed by Kaspars Markševics and Sabine Berezina, 4th place – the composition“ Come Night ”by the group“ Rumba Quartet ” In the final, the honorable third place was won by Jānis Moisejs and Ieva Sutugova with the song “Children’s Days”, the second – Ainars Bumbieris with the composition “White Flowers”. The Heart Song chosen by this year’s spectators is Mārtiņš Kanters, the choir “Anima” and the group “Auļi” performed “Valodiņa”! Host of the show Velga Vītola: “The fifth season of the Heart Song was bright and rich – we heard both loud hits and hymn songs! Viewers always appreciate classical values, but are happy that this season young musicians also shone in our show and in the sky of Latvian music. ”
In the final show of “Latvian Heart Songs”, directors Guntis Skrastiņš and Velga Vītola traveled with the musicians to the most beautiful castles in Latvia. The greetings of the finalists were handed over to the audience live from LTV studio. The concert featured not only all the songs that made it to the finals, but also the compositions performed by the guests – groups “Galaktika” and “Dakota”, as well as Sandra Sproģa, Māra Blāze, Ineta Rudzīte and Tihovski’s family.
