Leicester –
Arsenal returned from his visit to headquarters Leicester City with a 1-0 win. This victory brought Arsenal widened the gap at the top of the Premier League standings.

After his goal in the first half was disallowed, Arsenal finally opened the scoring early in the second half. Gabriel Martinelli successfully broke into Leicester’s goal in the 46th minute.
Thanks to this victory, Arsenal more comfortable at the top Premier League standings with 57 points from 24 matches. They are five points ahead of Manchester City, who will compete against Bournemouth on Sunday (26/2/2023) in the morning WIB.
Course of the Match
Arsenal immediately took the initiative to attack from the start. Mikel Arteta’s troops dominated the game in the early minutes.
Despite appearing dominant, Arsenal had difficulty creating clean opportunities. Arsenal’s pressure resulted in a corner which then led to a goal in the 26th minute.
Danny Ward’s attempt to clear an Arsenal corner led to Leandro Trossard. Trossard, who was in front of the penalty box, then found space and fired a shot that led to the top corner of Leicester’s goal.
However, the referee then checked the VAR and annulled Arsenal’s goal. Ben White was judged to annoy Danny Ward.
Not long after, it was Kelechi Iheanacho’s turn to break into the Arsenal goal. But it doesn’t count for offside.
Arsenal immediately kicked off after halftime. Gabriel Martinelli successfully broke into Leicester’s goal after taking advantage of a pass from Trossard.
Trossard, who was dribbling on the left, then handed the ball to Martinelli. The Brazilian then stepped into the box and fired a shot at the far post.
After scoring the goal, Martinelli looked in pain while holding his leg. After receiving treatment, Martinelli was able to continue the game.
Bukayo Saka had scored a goal against Leicester after receiving a pass from Martinelli. However, the goal was disallowed by the referee because Martinelli was in an offside position when he received the ball from Odegaard.
Ward made a fine save to keep out Zinchenko’s shot. He then also saved Gabriel’s header from Odegaard’s free kick.
