London –
Arsenal struggled to achieve a narrow victory in the second week. Martin Odegaard admits his team is not yet hot and still needs adjustments.
Arsenal narrowly won 1-0 over Crystal Palace in the second week of the Premier League match. The only goal was scored from the penalty spot, the result of Odegaard’s execution.
Previously, in the first week, Arsenal also narrowly won 2-1 over Nottingham Forest. The Gunners’ appearance in that match was also highlighted by the manager, Mikel Arteta, for slacking off in the second half.

Odegaard, as the captain, does not deny that his team has not clicked properly at the start of this season. The players still need time to find their best performance.
“It was a difficult match, we had to fight hard and really try. We did it brilliantly,” Odegaard said Standard.
“The start of the season is always a bit tricky, it takes time for everyone to find their rhythm and their best form.”
“So it’s crucial to be able to keep getting three points and build momentum from there. I’m sure we will improve as the game goes on,” he added.
Arsenal will next face Fulham in the third week. Their big test will come in week four, when they host Manchester United at the Emirates.
