Kevin Ribeiro (@kev.ribeirov) – Pasión X el Deporte. – Arsenal announced this Friday that Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard made the decision to renew his contract for the next five seasons, until June 2028.
“Signing a new contract was an easy decision for me for many reasons. Mainly what we are doing now as a club is special and I want to be part of that. I am very excited for what is to come. “I have found a place where I can really settle down and call my home,” Odegaard said.
“My story is maybe a little different as I moved to different clubs since I was 16 years old. At Arsenal, from day one, I felt very good and this is definitely my home now. I just want to thank everyone who works,” he expressed.
For his part, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal coach, said that “the signing of a new long-term contract by Martin is very good news for everyone here. He is our captain and a highly respected person in our club, a great role model and a professional who brings quality and maturity to everything he does.”
