Martin Odegaard is reportedly keen to remain at Arsenal beyond the end of the season.
The midfielder has become an integral part of Mikel Arteta’s team since he arrived on loan from Real Madrid in January.

Odegaard has found the net against Olympiakos and Tottenham and played a huge role in Arsenal’s three goals as they rallied 3-0 against to draw with West Ham.

He has been on loan at Heerenveen, Vitesse and Real Sociedad and is now at Arsenal without having been able to impress Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane in the first half of the 2020/21 season.

Despite his limited opportunities in Madrid, Odegaard recently admitted that it remains his ‘dream’ to become a regular starter at the Bernabéu.
He told Danish media TV2: “Yes, as I have said many times when you are there, the goal is always to play there. Of course, it is a great dream.
“But at the same time I am in a nice club and I am very happy where I am now. So I am very happy with the club’s situation as it is now ”.
There have been several calls from Arsenal fans, including Piers Morgan, to sign Odegaard permanently.
He has two years left on his contract with Real Madrid, which includes a release clause of 350 million euros.
