Martin kelly, a beloved resident of Bellingham, Portlaoise, Co. laois,and formerly of Warrenpoint,Co. Down, passed away peacefully on 26 January 2025 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family. Martin was predeceased by his father, John, formerly of the Old Road, Moneenroe, Castlecomer. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Sharon, son Kian, daughters India and Sophia, mother Mary, father-in-law pat, mother-in-law Nellie, brothers-in-law Anthony and Padraig, sister-in-law Michelle, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends, and work colleagues.The family has announced that Martin will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer, from 4pm on Tuesday, 28th January, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Prayers will take place on Wednesday morning at 11am, followed by removal to the church of the Sacred Heart, Moneenroe, for Requiem mass at 12 Noon.Martin will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery thereafter.
