In this role, Heindl will act as second managing director alongside Linz AG General Director Erich Haider from Tuesday, October 1st. Heindl succeeds Werner Sonnleitner, who will retire on October 1, 2024.

In addition to his role as Chairman of the Board of Linz AG, Haider is the first managing director and spokesman for Linz Service GmbH. Within the group of companies, Heindl worked right from the start in the wastewater division of Linz Service GmbH. In 2004 he was promoted to head of the ‘Sewer Planning and Construction’ department and held this position until 2023. He has headed the wastewater division since 2023.

Heindl is married. The enthusiastic cyclist has a wide range of interests – from beekeeping to aquarium keeping and carpentry – and is the father of two sons (born 1993 and 1998). He lives in Thalheim near Wels.
