Luis Ventura, president of the Argentine Association of Television and Radio Journalists (Aptra), announced with the host the nominees for the first edition of the Martín Fierro awards for cinema and series. The ceremony, which will be broadcast on the American screen and hosted by Benjamin Vicuña and Mariana Fabbiani, will take place on October 21 at La Usina del Arte, in Buenos Aires.

“There are 26 objects, 6 tributes and one gold in total, there are 33 statues,” explained the president of Aptra. And then he said: “The truth is, I never expected that the Martin Fierro was a cinema, but … the things that a person achieves, doors that open.”

To prepare the list of nominees, Aptra collaborated with members of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Argentina, who helped organize the competition in 26 categories, which include films and series that it was released between 2023 and 2024. , in theaters and on digital. platforms.
