Martijn thinks it’s time to give ‘new’ presentation talent a program such as The Voice Kids ‘That is why I hand over the program to Jamai Loman and Buddy Vedder, who as a new duo will enrich this program. The chemistry between Jamai and Buddy is good, so The Voice Kids is in good hands with them. And it’s good for the viewer, because it’s important that the program continues to innovate, and that frees up space for other programs for me.’
Martijn continues: ‘I will stay on as a voice-over and of course as a presenter of The voice of Holland with Chantal Janzen, and The Voice Senior with Lieke van Lexmond, whose new and very successful season will start on August 27.’

For Buddy himself it is a dream come true: ‘I have The Voice Kids for years as a dot on the horizon. Because for me this program contains all the ingredients that make my heart beat faster. Music, show, humor, sometimes a tear, but above all mega-talented kids. I look forward to bringing the kids to the main stage together with Jamai and watching them grow into the stars of the future.’
Jamai Loman, Buddy’s new colleague, is already looking forward to the collaboration. The two already know each other well from previous productions: ‘He is very talented and a friend from the trade. All the more fun to welcome him now at The Voice Kids. We are going to have a lot of fun with the talents and I hope the viewers will enjoy it again! I’m really looking forward to it!’

The last season of The Voice Kids was won at the beginning of June by the Limburg Emma. The youngest of the four finalists ultimately received the most votes from the public.
