Presenter Martijn Krabbé has a form of cancer. He announced this in a message on Instagram. “That is sad news, but I also see plenty of opportunities to do something with this,” the presenter writes with a photo of him and his wife Deborah.
Krabbé does not share which form of cancer it is, but says that there are several treatment options. “For my family, this is the hardest. Fortunately, I can say that they are strong and even talk about it with humor.”
Martijn Krabbé has four children with his previous wife Amanda. “It’s not much to laugh about cancer, but they managed it,” the presenter writes about his family. “With love you can actually conquer everything. So I’m in a good position no matter what.”
Krabbé, known for programs such as Idols, The Voice of Holland and Kopen Zonder Kijken, says he will “come back on air when we have recovered from the shock”.

Colleagues and other celebrities support the presenter with the message. “Dear Tijnie, all love, strength and peace for you!”, writes presenter Wendy van Dijk.
